PortConMaine is proud to welcome Bill McLean as a guest for 2016!
Bill McLean is an award-winning Actor, Producer, Screenwriter, Stunt Choreographer/Coordinator, Fight Choreographer, and owner of Freight Train Films, Inc. He has been acting since 1990 and loves to be on a set as well as making sure everyone around him is having a good time while getting the job done. His comedy "Scooter McGruder" won best feature film at the 2011 LAFF International Film Festival, Bill wrote and starred in the film. His newest film, How to Kill a Zombie is currently available world-wide through Maxim Media and several platforms like Amazon Prime, Vudu, Dish Network, Comcast Xfinity, and Verizon Fios, etc.

A Home Run for our 15th Year! A MONTH of Con Activities!
It's our 15th year, so we should do something awesome, right???
Out of left field comes this AMAZING announcement for our community-- we're going to have a MONTH of convention activities this year, as well as an additional space at the Maine Mall!
For the WHOLE month of June we'll be renting the space across the street next to Best Buy, the old Summit Adventure Space.
What this means for you:
- 7,800 more space during the convention to run a GAMES ARENA OF AWESOME. Our gaming will be at the mall this year- allowing us to run panels inside (only one tent, woot woot!) and to spread out our vendors and artists.
- Another room for artisans, authors, and other miscellaneous craftsman. Details on signing up coming soon, but it all amounts to more space to showcase amazing artists!
- A MONTH OF ACTIVITIES. No lie: we'll have something for most of the days of June. Tournaments, Dogeball, a Nerdy Flea Market/Swap Meet, Karaoke... So much awesome. And right at the Maine Mall! Each activity will either be a small fee for non-preregistered attendees or free/discounted rate just for pre-registered attendees, so make sure to Pre-Register by June 1st!!

Ross Kearney (Author)
PortConMaine is proud to welcome Ross Kearney as a guest for 2016!
Ross Kearney has spent the past 8 years trying to make his children's book "Be My Friend? A Yeti's Tale" a reality, which he finally published this year. He has coached the trophy winning robotics team The Duct Tape Dragons as part of the Boys and Girls Club of Southern Maine for the past 5 years.You can find Ross at most major Comic Cons working for Comiclink an online auction house for high end comic books. He spends his spare time working on pinball machines and writing his upcoming projects, a comic called "30 Monster or Less", a Carnacki daily comic strip, and a spin off of "Be My Friend?" following the character Vlad.
